James Nash Alford

James has produced films for the University of Arkansas and other organizations. He has worked with the BRSF since its inception.

Gregg Evans

Gregg is a farmer near Harrison. He brings to the board expertise and a sensitivity to the concerns of farmers in the Buffalo watershed.

Gregg Galbraith

Gregg is the founder and executive director of the Ozark Regional Land Trust, an organization with which the BRSF will be cooperating in the coming years.

John Harbison

John teaches natural resources and environmental law at the University of Arkansas. He has been a BRSF board member from the beginning.

Jon Johnson

Jon teaches business management at the University of Arkansas. He is responsible for most of the BRSF's administrative duties.

Tim O'Reilly

Tim practices law in Springfield, Missouri. He was a founding member and director of the BRSF, and was instrumental in the BRSF's first land purchase.

Ken Smith

Ken is the author of the Buffalo River Country, and is responsible for trail blazing and construction in the Buffalo National River. His knowledge of the Buffalo watershed is unsurpassed.

Gary Tucker

Gary is an investment adviser for the A. G. Edwards office in Fayetteville. He is an expert in the area of charitable contributions (including donated easements) for financial and estate planning purposes.

Susan Lowe Baker

Sue conducted economic research for our initial socioeconomic studies. She is a native of Little Rock and is currently working as an economist in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jesse Gordon

Jesse conducted policy research for our economic and policy studies. He was the founding editor of "The Steward," our policy journal.

Timothy T. Jones

Tim was the BRSF's founding Executive Director. He first floated and fished the Buffalo at age 2. He is an avid kayaker and recreationalist who knows the watershed intimately. Mr. Jones received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is trained in environmental and agricultural law. He has been a vocal environmental advocate for river protection in Arkansas and throughout the US. He is now doing legal work for the State of Arkansas in Little Rock.
